Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Control (QC)Technician to join a highly skilled and professional team that significantly contributes to the daily analysis of indicators and parameters to ensure process quality through root cause analysis of deviations and the elimination of losses caused by defects within optimal parameters and conditions.
This position will be based at our Querétaro, Mexico plant.
Tetra Pak does not sponsor work visas or relocation for this position.
Availability to work rotating shifts is required.
What you will do
As a QC Technician, you will:
* Be assigned to the printing process; therefore, you must comply with flexography standards, including color theory and color parameters.
* Be responsible for conducting inspections of critical areas and evaluating the quality of packaging material to ensure compliance with specifications.
* Be responsible for evaluating product variations and following up to ensure process compliance.
* Develop the quality matrix and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Perform statistical process monitoring.
* Validate and verify inspection equipment.
We believe you have
* Full availability to work rotating shifts.
* A technical degree or higher education, preferably with an emphasis on quality or production.
* 1 to 2 years of work experience in the role or a similar position.
* Experience using MS Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of basic flexography and color theory.
* Knowledge in the use of graphic equipment and flexographic measuring equipment.
* Key competencies: organization, adherence to norms and procedures, attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, and assertive communication.
