Principales objetivos del rol


Respect and comply with the plant's mission and values, as well as implement and develop preventive measures for safety.
Ensure compliance with applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental laws, regulations, and standards, as well as internal Environmental and Safety policies.

Responsabilidades y Actividades


* Manage the on-site medical service.
* Review maintenance of the fire protection system.
* Coordinate emergency response brigades.
* Coordinate with SAA and environmental consultants, risk assessments, and Core Team activities.
* Supervise contractors in safety matters.
* Coordinate actions related to unsafe conditions.
* Take corrective actions regarding unsafe acts.
* Ensure compliance with governmental regulations applicable to the plant.
* Review accident QRCIs.
* Implement required workplace environmental studies.
* Participate in PMS activities.

Perfil deseado


Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Health Sciences, Environmental Sciences, related fields, or internal professional development.

Languages (desired proficiency):
Advanced English

Experience (minimum 5 years) in:

* Management of governmental inspections and audits related to Safety, Health, and Environment.
* Knowledge of regulations from the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) and SEMARNAT.
* ISO 14001 standard (Environmental Management Systems).
* ISO 45001 standard (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems).
* Emergency response and control.
* Waste management.
* Knowledge of hazard identification and environmental aspects/impacts risk assessment.

Competencias requeridas
