Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Digital Design Engineer to join our NFC development team. The candidate will focus on development of area-optimized neural network algorithms for next-generation NFC receiver systems, enhancing performance in signal detection, interference mitigation, and adaptive filtering.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement digital architectures for neural network algorithms tailored to NFC receiver applications.
* Collaborate with other digital engineers to translate neural network models into efficient, low-latency hardware implementations.
* Develop RTL code (using Verilog/SystemVerilog) for digital signal processing blocks incorporating neural network inference engines.
* Optimize digital designs for power, area, and performance within the constraints of NFC front-end systems.
* Perform simulation, verification, and validation of digital designs using industry-standard EDA tools.
* Analyze system-level requirements and contribute to architectural decisions for neural network-based NFC signal processing.
* Stay current with emerging trends in machine learning, digital design, and RF technologies to drive innovation.
* Document design specifications, test plans, and verification results.
* Support silicon bring-up, debugging, and performance tuning activities.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* Background in digital design and RTL coding (VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog).
* Basic knowledge of neural network architectures and machine learning algorithms, especially applied to signal processing.
* Basic knowledge of simulation and verification tools (ModelSim, Questa, Synopsys VCS, etc.).
* Solid understanding of fixed-point arithmetic, quantization, and hardware optimization techniques.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills
* Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model quantization techniques.
* Knowledge of ASIC design flow and constraints related to RF front-end integration.
* Experience with MATLAB or Python for algorithm development and verification.
What We Offer
* Opportunity to work on cutting-edge NFC technologies.
* Collaborative environment fostering innovation and professional growth.
* Access to advanced tools and resources for digital design and verification.
* Career development and training opportunities in emerging fields.
* Time reserved for pursuing PhD studies and compiling the doctoral thesis.
