As Scrum Master of a big squad having a backlog mixing maintain activities and several epics to execute, you lead and guide the team in delivering high-value releases within committed timeframes.
You master the Offer Change Management process and you ensure strict adherence to the defined practices, facilitate key ceremonies, and collaborate with Product Owners to maintain strategic alignment. You work closely with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and create comprehensive integration plans. You oversee sprint backlogs, drive decision-making, and manage project budgets to ensure timely delivery. You actively remove impediments, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and provide support to team members in their professional growth. You identify and resolve obstacles, encourage reflection on processes, and fine-tune practices using tools such as Jira.
You are also leading the end-to-end execution of all the backlog items ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable value creation. You are responsible for translating objectives into actionable plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing risks, resources, and timelines with precision. Your mission is to drive successful outcomes that align with organizational goals while maintaining quality, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
You exercise independent judgment to resolve issues impacting short-term results, often in ambiguous situations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth execution of backlog within the agreed timebox in compliance with the OLM Milestones
* Develop a detailed execution plan, including scope, objectives, schedule, and resources.
* Lead the squad to achieve goals and deliverables. Coordinate tasks and ensure that squad members understand their responsibilities.
* Partner with Product Owner to ensure strategy and execution alignment with League's and Squad's visions. Ensure together cross team collaboration.
* Coach and ensure that the Squad gains efficiency, increase performance and autonomy by understanding and applying OLM, and drive change and dependency management.
* Facilitates all the Squad rituals and key events such as Sprint planning, Squad updates ( Daily or Weekly standup/ loop-in meeting/ Collaboration/ Short interval meetings etc.), Review & Retrospection and ensures all these are efficient & fruitful. Conduct reviews to identify lessons learned and document best practices.
* Identify and manage risks and dependencies. Drive the decision-making process
* Identify, escalate, and help find resolutions to Squad impediments
* Make sure the PPM is updated with latest info on Epic and data quality and manage the operational budget collaboratively with the PO.
* Track progress against the plan making adjustments as necessary.
* Provide progress status and escalate impediments on a regular basis. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Must have
* Significant experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in a similar delivery role.
* Strong knowledge of Scrum practices, backlog management, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
* Experience managing complex execution plans, risks, dependencies, resources, budgets, and timelines.
* Ability to lead and coach cross-functional teams, remove impediments, and improve team performance.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
Nice to have
* Experience with Offer Change Management and OLM milestones.
* Experience using Jira and project portfolio management tools.
* Experience managing backlogs that combine maintenance activities and multiple epics.
