Aufgaben
CML
Construction Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of (COMPANY NAME) SE. Its mission
is to provide contract management and legal support to Group companies. As a
service provider with more than 300 employees worldwide, CML supports the
operational colleagues in all phases of the project lifecycle on all major
(COMPANY NAME) projects. CML's involvement in a project can be as short as a phone
call, as long as several weeks, or as long as the project requires.Due to the
Group's growing business in the UK market, CML UK is looking to strengthen its
capabilities to maintain the high standard of service to our clients and we are
looking for you to join our team and grow with us.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
* Provision
of inhouse contract management services to operative colleagues - mainly
(COMPANY NAME) UK.
* Advising
on all contractual matters throughout project life cycle.
* Review
the Employer's Requirements, Contract Data and Works Information and associated
information and highlighting any deficiencies/omissions etc.
* Prepare,
review and complete contract documentation.
* Supporting
the bid team through tender process.
* Reviewing,
producing of subcontract documentation.
* Able to
perform contract risk analysis for tender purposes.
* Demonstrate
and maintain sound commercial and technical knowledge.
* Work
closely with legal colleagues from CML and liaise with operative teams.
* Coordination
and preparation of major contractual correspondence, submittals, referrals and
other contractual documentation.
* Experience
in building up major claims for EOT and/or quantum.
* Investigating and
addressing contractual issues, including disputes, claims, variations and the
like.
* Experience
of UK Adjudication is an advantage.In-depth
working knowledge of JCT, NEC and FIDIC standard forms of contract
Qualifikationen
* Knowledge and Skills:
* Commitment
to ethical business conduct and trust with sensitive information.
* Good
organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to work
under pressure and deadlines when required.
* Knowledge
of standard UK construction law/regulations/practices.
* Self-motivated,
persistent, and flexible, with a strong emphasis on a team approach.
* Requirement
to visit project sites in the UK.
* Able to
work with site based operative teams to provide CM support.
* Time
spent on-site as contract manager, QS or similar position is an advantage.
* Proficient
in all Microsoft Office tools such as TEAMS, Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneNote,
PowerPoint etc.
* Sound
understanding and working knowledge of project programming and scheduling.
* Working
knowledge of programming software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
(or others), is an advantage.
