Despatch Operative

Job Description:

Job Purpose

Engaged in the loading and despatching of stock from within our warehouse operation. Ensuring that all inventories and orders destined for our customers are accurate and on time and that all ecom orders are checked and loaded accurately to Yorks. To ensure that the Despatch area is manned and operable as and when required by the business.

Responsibilities

· Timely and regular reporting of all Despatches according to business needs;
· Ensure the accurate and safe use of the in-house systems by the team to ensure efficient working practices;
· Operate within Health and Safety legislation and Levi's® Health and Safety requirements to contribute to a safe, challenging, rewarding, productive environment;

Required skills and competencies to consider before applying

· Previous experience of working in a FMCG Warehouse operation;
· A high level of customer orientation;
· Ability to work under pressure;
· Ability to collaborate and build internal and external partnerships;
· Flexibility;
· Initiative;
· Good communication skills;
· PC skills - Good understanding and knowledge of computer databases;
· Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
