* Lead sophisticated, cross-functional research that spans multiple products or platforms, ensuring consistency and coherence in the user experience.
Product Vision:
* Collaborate with leadership and product teams to craft the long-term mission and tactical plan for our products, ensuring a deep integration end-user desires and behaviors.
* Take on the role of a passionate advocate for human-centric design approaches, fostering an organizational culture that prioritizes customer understanding and addresses the needs of our diverse user base.
Collaborator Engagement and Influence:
* Possess exceptional leadership skills, encouraging positive relationships with collaborators across multiple subject areas, including executive leadership.
* Apply your expertise and credibility to influence decision-making at the highest levels, ensuring user insights are reflected in the product's strategic roadmap.
* Mentor and guide a team of Designers, Product Managers and Engineers who conduct their own customer research efforts, providing leadership, mentorship, and oversight to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Storytelling and Communication Mastery:
* Craft compelling narratives that bring user insights to life, using video, data visualization, personas, journey maps, and other techniques to effectively communicate research findings.
* Excellent Communicator with strong presentation design skills and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Through your leadership and influence, inspire all teams to adopt user compassion as motivation underpinning our product development.

Qualifications:

* Demonstrated ability in user research, leading research initiatives and influencing thinking to improve outcomes for the end user.
* Extensive expertise in mix-methodologies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, field studies, and data analysis techniques.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences, from product teams to executive leadership and external partners.
* Validated ability to lead, mentor, and develop user research teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Exceptional consensus building skills to drive alignment across wide range of teams.
* Proven experience in shaping how collaborators think based on user insights.
* Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work optimally in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
