As a Brand Champion, you will serve as a business partner to our US distributor (Conn Selmer) and an ambassador for Henri SELMER Paris. You will: - Support and develop the dealer network across the U.S. - Foster strong relationships with artists, educators, institutions, and ambassadors - Drive field activation and training - Coordinate marketing initiatives Your role will be essential in accelerating performance while ensuring consistent and aligned execution between Henri Selmer Paris and Conn Selmer. Key Responsibilities 1. Field Activation (70%) * Develop and implement a localized strategic plan based on market insights and competitive analysis; advise headquarters on next steps and long-term strategy. * Support, develop, and animate the nationwide dealer network in collaboration with Conn Selmer. * Maintain regular interaction with educators, musicians, artists, ambassadors, and institutional partners across the U.S. * Train Conn Selmer Key Account Managers and sellers (HSP pro pitches, testing process, upselling accessories & mouthpieces). * Manage a pool of loaner instruments and mouthpieces (tracking, condition, logs, returns). * Co-manage local artists/ambassadors, including content creation, FTC compliance, and proof-of-performance. * Develop and execute product-family-specific promotion strategies. * Strengthen relationships with leading institutions likely to expand brand influence (e.g., Berklee College of Music). * Support Conn Selmer and HSP teams during major events, conventions, trade shows, festivals, and brand activations throughout the U.S. * Ensure coordinated communication and marketing execution between HSP Paris and Conn Selmer. * Extensive national travel, plus occasional travel to Paris HQ. 2. Data & Co-Marketing (20%) * Work with Conn Selmer and dealer sales reps to ensure MDF/co-op marketing events are well planned, executed, and followed up. The Brand Champion supports organization, coordination, on-site presence, and proof-of-performance, while the sales reps handle the formal MDF submission and reimbursement process. * Contribute to short-form content creation (e.g., product comparisons, mouthpiece features). 3. Governance & Compliance (10%) * Report monthly to the HSP × Conn Selmer Joint Steering Committee (KPIs, risks, demo/ambassador stock needs). * Participate in the Monthly Steering Committee with Conn Selmer (Sales, Product Management, Education) to ensure alignment and issue resolution. * Enforce compliance with strict "red line" rules: * No order taking * No pricing involvement * Strict adherence to FTC endorsement regulations * Proper handling of personal data (opt-in, limited use)

Candidate Requirements:

You have commercial flair and an adventurous and entrepreneurial spirit. You can thrive in both a team environment and individually. You have good people-management skills and are sensitive to different cultural norms. The right candidate must be comfortable promoting musical instruments to qualified dealers and cultivating relationships with musicians, educators, and prospective customers. You have a true passion for music and musicians. This is a role for a high-energetic, dedicated, hardworking and passionate individual who takes real pride in his/her work, the brand he/she works for and enjoys working with autonomy. * Fluent in both English and French (both languages required). * Experience in sales, business development, or marketing. * Background in music or familiarity with the wind instrument/MI industry is a strong plus. * Strong organizational and project-management abilities
