The role…
The Junior Buyer is a procurement professional responsible for supporting the sourcing of indirect goods and services and supplier management across the Soho House locations in North America. Reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement - North America, this role will help manage sourcing requests, supplier relationships, contract administration, spend analysis, and procurement projects that drive operational efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the procurement of indirect goods and services including collateral supplies, hotel amenities, kitchen equipment, and other operational categories.
* Assist with competitive sourcing events, including gathering supplier quotations, evaluating proposals, and preparing recommendation summaries.
* Support sourcing, onboarding & management of suppliers for new business initiatives.
* Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and spend trends.
* Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, pricing files, and sourcing records.
* Assist with implementation, adoption and continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.
* Serve as a point of contact for operational teams by responding to product, supplier, and procurement-related inquiries.
* Partner with on-site purchasing teams to support new initiatives, product rollouts, and operational requirements across North America.
* Participate in cross-functional procurement initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
* 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, hospitality, or administrative support
* Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Customer-service mindset with the ability to build relationships across departments.
* Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
* Experience with procurement or ERP systems is a plus (Adaco, Coupa, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Preferred Skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred).
* Experience working in hospitality, retail, food & beverage, or multi-site operations is advantageous.
* Familiarity with procurement best practices and supplier management.
* Interest in pursuing a career in strategic sourcing or supply chain management.

In accordance with New York law, the salary range for this role if filled within New York is listed below. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
