Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
* You develop and design interfaces and simulation environments that enable seamless interoperability between medical devices.
* You design and implement software solutions that efficiently support testing, validation, and integration workflows with partners.
* You ensure built-in quality, security, and observability in distributed systems.
* You assist in root cause analysis in complex environments.

Your qualifications and experience:
* You hold a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
* You have several years of professional experience in software development and hands on experience with containerized applications.
* You routinely use AI-powered development tools in your daily work and are familiar with agentic development.
* You have comprehensive knowledge of C#, .NET & C++, as well as practical experience with Angular.
* You have knowledge of medical communication standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and are familiar with OpenAPI and REST.
* Ideally, you are familiar with regulated development environments and have experience with real-time systems.
* You have a strong background in software engineering (clean code, design patterns, testing).

* You take a result-oriented approach and maintain high standards of quality.
* You strive for continuous improvement and embrace the principles of software craftsmanship.
* You communicate complex technical content clearly and translate it into clear, practical documentation.
* You are confident in an international environment thanks to your fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
