VIE - Junior Buyer - Direct Procurement (M/F/D)

Europe Procurement (EP) is the centrally managed and de-centrally located purchasing team. As a Global Business Service we accelerate the alignment of processes and deployment of digital solutions across all clusters and Global Business Units (GBU). EP supports Operations & Corporate Functions in all aspects of purchasing equipment & services - in their day2day business as well as in long term projects.

The Direct team within EP is responsible to create value in procurement of Direct Material and services with external providers within the scope of EUI. We work as a European team, define and deploy together with our business partners sourcing strategies.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As a Junior Buyer, you will be trained to understand Air Liquide's European Procurement operations, its network of suppliers, and the contribution of strategic sourcing and analytics in the Air Liquide business.

As part of the European Procurement team, you will deliver efficiency gains, optimize our purchasing costs, and decrease our operational expenses through the identification and execution of cost optimization projects.

In particular, you will (i) support the daily activities of Operations stakeholders, (ii) conduct analytics for multiple procurement categories, and (iii) contribute to the development and deployment of sourcing strategies across various EU countries.

Are you a MATCH?

Education
* The ideal candidate has a Master Degree in Procurement (Economy or Finance is also acceptable)

Hard and soft skills
Analytical skills (data analysis), good knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel, ability to manage several topics at the same time, good communication skills in a multi-cultural environment, interest in industrial processes.

Languages:
* English is a must, French or Dutch are a plus
