Context of recruitment

As part of the development of its Oil & Gas logistics activities in East Africa, AGL Uganda is looking for a Project Manager V.I.E, based in Kampala.
Reporting to the Regional O&G Manager, the VIE will be involved in complex, high value-added logistics projects.
He/She will contribute to the operational management of strategic multimodal flows (Sea and Land) in an international and multicultural environment.
This position offers cross-functional exposure to operations, project management, QHSE and client relations.
The VIE will actively support coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
This is a field-based role at the heart of Oil & Gas operations.
The VIE will evolve in a dynamic, demanding and highly formative environment.

You will be responsible of :
* Support the planning, monitoring and execution of Oil & Gas logistics projects, in line with deadlines, budgets and KPIs.
* Contribute to the operational coordination of logistics flows (Mombasa port, inland transport, borders and final site).
* Ensure day-to-day operational follow-up and communication between all internal and external stakeholders.
* Support the supervision of subcontractors and ensure compliance with QHSE standards and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor operational performance and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
* Contribute to financial and commercial activities: invoicing follow-up, cost validation and participation in commercial offers.
* Participate in risk identification and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics processes

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

* You're graduated from a Master's degree in business administration with a concentration in logistics. * You have already done an internship, apprenticeship or a first job in Oil & Gas sector. You are particulary aware of the QHSE standards. * Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management. * Proficiency in Microsoft SW * Professional level in English is mandatory for this position. An interest in the African continent is an additional asset
