Digital (Car) Key Certification & Technical Support Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Schwalbach/ moving to Eschborn during 2024

Role and Responsibilities

* Digital (Car) Key Certification
* Understand CCC (Car Connectivity Consortium) Certification procedure & requirements to obtain certification for each CCC modules
* Construct a plan and estimate the time and expenses needed for certification, etc. in order to work with various certification labs and handle general certification management.
* Evaluate the practicality of implementing certification approval/deprecation/withdrawal policies for devices and establish company policies accordingly.
* Establish management policies that take into account the scope/cycle of software updates for each module within the company, including re-certification.
* Follow the entire certification procedure aligned with CCC to certify our car key supported devices.
* Managing the process of certification for Applets that (COMPANY NAME) maintains
* Carry out similar certification tasks for other digital key services in addition to the ones mentioned above.
* Technical Support for (COMPANY NAME) Wallet in Europe
* Provide technical support for (COMPANY NAME) Wallet in Europe and other related services, assisting users with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and guidance on product usage.
* Collaborate with development teams (in (COMPANY NAME) and Partners) to identify and address technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain technical support documentation, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles, to enhance user self-service capabilities.
* Continuously monitor service performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement proactive measures to enhance user experience.

Skills and Qualifications

* University degree in software engineering preferred
* Multiple years of experience in software development ideally in tech consultancy
* Having proficiency in web technologies, especially API communication, is a must, with a desirable understanding of Android app development and the ability to analyze logs.
* Having experience in technical support for ((COMPANY NAME)) Wallet or similar services is beneficial.
* Ability to understand and manage the whole certification processes, along with a thorough understanding of related documentation and procedures, is necessary .
* Outstanding communication abilities in English
* Experience in presenting an organization's viewpoint in an industry forum
* Passion and capability for evaluating standards, documentation, and commercial impacts
