This is your opportunity to become a member of our Technology Consulting division within E.ON's Digital Technology organization. As a Working Student (f/m/d) in Data Engineering, you will support the design and construction of scalable data management systems, ensuring that data solutions are robust, performance-efficient, and secure. You will leverage your knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Azure, along with data processing technologies such as Spark and Databricks, to implement solutions that effectively handle our growing data needs.

What you are responsible for

* Building and Optimizing Data Pipelines: Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems using cloud technologies, with an emphasis on Azure

* Utilizing Big Data Technologies: Employ tools like Apache Spark and Databricks to process large datasets, and integrate systems for data collection, data storage, and processing

* Collaborating on Data Architecture: Work with data scientists and architects to ensure that the data ecosystem supports our operational and analytical applications efficiently

* Ensuring Data Quality and Integrity: Assist in maintaining data accuracy and accessibility while adhering to data governance and security standards

What you are good at

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

* Strong foundational knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure

* Proficiency in programming languages relevant to data engineering, particularly Python. Familiarity with big data frameworks like Spark and experience with Databricks

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems clearly and understandably
