Job Description

Hybrid: This position requires being on-site 3 days per week.
What you will do (Responsibilities):
* Lead and oversee the Ethics and Compliance Program in Argentina, ensuring alignment with local laws and global corporate policies.
* Monitor compliance with Argentine regulations, including the Corporate Criminal Liability Law (Law 27,401) and UIF resolutions.
* Ensure adherence to U.S. compliance standards such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and OFAC regulations.
* Identify and mitigate risks related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF).
* Manage investigations: Oversee the ethics hotline, conduct internal investigations, and implement corrective actions.
* Develop and deliver training on ethics, anti-corruption, and workplace harassment.
* Supervise third-party due diligence for vendors, partners, and distributors.
Your skills and abilities (Required Qualifications):
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, or Business Administration.
* Experience: 5-8 years in compliance or risk management, preferably in U.S. multinationals or financial/fintech sectors.
* Languages: Fluent Spanish and advanced/fluent English (essential for global reporting).
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of BCRA and CNV regulations, plus global governance best practices.
What can give you a competitive edge (Preferred Qualifications):
* Certifications:
* CEC (Certificación en Ética y Compliance) from AAEC/UCEMA.
* International certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional).
* Additional Expertise: Experience in ethics program development and cross-border compliance management.
