Roles & Responsibilities
As Head of Region, you are accountable for the overall performance, growth, and development of Adecco's operations across Wallonia & Brussels. You drive business performance, operational excellence, and employee engagement, while ensuring strong client satisfaction and alignment with The Adecco Group's strategic priorities.
As a key member of the Belgian leadership team, you contribute to national strategy and transformation initiatives, translating them into effective and impactful regional execution.
Business Performance & P&L Ownership
* Own and manage the full P&L of the region
* Define and deliver ambitious business targets aligned with national strategy
* Monitor and steer key performance indicators (sales, margin, productivity, fill rates, etc.)
* Identify growth opportunities and implement corrective actions where needed
Leadership & People Development
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional team (Area Managers, Branch Managers, Sales & Operations teams)
* Build a strong culture of performance, ownership, and accountability
* Identify and develop future talent; ensure robust succession planning
* Foster an engaging, inclusive, and high-performing work environment
Commercial Development & Client Relationships
* Drive the execution of the commercial strategy within the region
* Support key client acquisition and development, including strategic accounts
* Ensure strong proximity to clients and local markets
* Identify new business opportunities and regional growth levers
Operational Excellence
* Ensure high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency
* Optimize branch network performance and productivity
* Drive the adoption of tools, processes, and digital solutions
* Continuously enhance customer and candidate experience
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Work closely with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Marketing, Digital, etc.)
* Collaborate with other business lines (e.g., LHH, Akkodis) to unlock cross-selling opportunities
* Contribute to company-wide initiatives and transformation projects
Governance, compliance & risk management
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company policies
* Manage operational and business risks proactively
* Act as a role model for The Adecco Group's values, ethics, and governance standards
Experience
* Proven track record in senior leadership roles within multi-site or regional environments
* Strong commercial acumen with full P&L responsibility
* Experience in a dynamic, service-driven and people-centric industry
* Solid understanding of the Belgian market and regional dynamics
Education
* Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Management, Human Resources, or a related field
* Master's degree or equivalent (e.g., MBA, Executive MBA) is considered a strong asset
