About the job
You will bring Danone's Danone Way of Execution (DWE) to life by delivering excellence across the 3As-Availability, Assortment, and Activation. By focusing on priority retail banners and leveraging clear Picture of Success (PICOS) metrics, you will drive category growth, strengthen our market share, and consistently measure and optimize performance.
In this role, you will be part of a team of 5 Category Field Specialist, reporting into the Sr. Retail Field Manager.
You will be combining in-store execution with data analysis, making recommendations for the wider field sales teams, and acting as a key link with Key Account Managers, Shopper and Category teams.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Own and grow your territory: Take full accountability for performance across your territory-driving distribution, sales, and in-store excellence to deliver sustainable growth.
* Win at the shelf every day: Deliver best-in-class execution across Availability, Assortment, and Activation. Ensure our products are always in stock, perfectly ranged, and highly visible through impactful displays and secondary placements-maximizing sales opportunities at every touchpoint.
* Turn insights into growth: Leverage data to prioritize the biggest commercial opportunities-whether closing distribution gaps, maximizing promotional periods, or capitalizing on seasonal peaks-and convert them into clear, revenue-driving actions in-store.
* Unlock value through partnerships: Build strong, performance-driven relationships with store managers and department leads. Proactively negotiate for additional facings, premium placements, and optimal visibility to accelerate sell-out and category growth.
* Own your results: Track execution and performance rigorously through accurate reporting and in-store evidence. Identify risks early and act fast to capture opportunities and maximize impact.
* Act with integrity and excellence: Operate in line with Danone's standards-ensuring safety, ethical conduct, product quality, and data accuracy at all times.
* You have a strong interest in sales, retail, or FMCG, with a first relevant experience
* You are commercially curious and eager to learn how to drive sales, distribution, and in-store performance.
* You feel comfortable using data and insights to guide your actions and spot growth opportunities.
* You are proactive and hands-on, with a “getting things done” mindset
* You have strong communication and relationship-building skills, and enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders
