PROPÓSITO E IMPACTO DO TRABALHO

The Category Lead, South LATAM Plant Services will handle the development and implementation of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement process for the Grains (Ag & Trading), Food, and Corporate Functions businesses across South Latam (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Ecuador) for Opex and Facilities Services categories. In addition, he/she will identify, create, and guarantee value capture from competitive advantages arising from the company's regional scale and market insights. In this role, you'll be responsible for hitting set targets for the category, providing direction to guide and lead regional supplier engagement for strategic negotiations. You'll be a key partner in developing insights that combine value creation and implementing and assessing local commercial feasibility.

PRINCIPAIS RESPONSABILIDADES

* Develop regional expertise for the categories in your area of responsibility, synthesizing all technical and economic factors, building relationships with key business partners, and understanding the regional competitive dynamics of the categories
* Create regional sourcing strategies that leverage leading business market positions to establish a competitive edge in the market and lead category contract negotiations with regional and local suppliers.
* Work in partnership with market intelligence analysts to support the business approach according to business priorities.
* Responsible for regional sourcing initiatives, including definition and deployment of medium- and long-term OPEX and Facility Service category strategies in order to guarantee value capture mechanism, measuring and reporting procurement value creation.
* Handle complex issues independently with minimal supervision, while only escalating the most complex cases to the appropriate team.
* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICAÇÕES

* Experience on developing Strategic Sourcing Playbooks.
* Experience in developing purchasing strategy
* Experience in procurement related to Latam region - a plus
* Experience with any ERP (SAP, Ariba, etc.)
* Experience in purchasing Opex services (mechanical, electrical, civil maintenance services) and/or Facilities services (cleaning, security, catering, pest control, waste management)
* Advanced English
* Intermediate Spanish
