Location: Sofia, Bulgaria - Anrie Nestle 2

Department: Technical Department, Project Management team

Position: full time, on site, regular shift (8 hours working day)

Grade : I

Position Summary

Project Engineer is part of Project Management team which is experienced in leading and executing complex projects with readiness to help and support colleagues in the various phases of projects.

Position Snapshot

The Project Engineer leads project development, implementation and execution and is fully responsible for the financial part of the project, for the work and coordination with external companies, coordination with all departments in the factory. The position provides opportunities for career development and gaining experience of the upcoming major investment projects in Nestle, Sofia Factory.

A day in the life of...

Actively participate in the preparation phase of the projects together with the End to End Project Manager to develop the investment project charter (business case, financial justification, etc.)

Execute the basic and detailed design of the projects together with the Operations team

Lead the Implementation phase of the projects to ensure that the engineering side of the project is implemented (e.g. buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc.) in accordance with the defined timing, cost, quality and safety standards

Select and qualify contractors and coordinate their activities

Support the Start-up Team to ensure a smooth transition to operations

What will make you successful

Degree/Diploma in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, E&A, Process, Industrial engineering, or similar)

Financial and budget analysis and tracking

Food plant principles and hygienic engineering: Food processing plants and technologies (Maintenance and Utilities), food safety, hygienic engineering

Experience in leading projects implementation in one of the following fields in food industry - capital investment projects development and implementation,  Automation and Control, Utilities, Maintenance and others

Fluent communication in English

SAP experience

Technical drawing software (advantage) - Autodesk (AutoCAD), 3D Modeling (SolidWorks, Inventor)
