Project Coordinator
Description -
Managed Services (MS) is a solution that provides customers with complete, professional management of their entire output environment. MS are customized to meet an organization's specific business objectives and needs. Additional asset management capabilities help ease the transition to an optimized imaging and printing environment and provide ongoing flexibility to meet customer business needs.
Job Description -
The role of the Transition team is to plan and successfully transition operational responsibility for contracted Managed Services from the customer to HP.
This team is responsible and accountable for deployments. Apply subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommend appropriate alternatives. Work on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice to make decisions on complex business issues.
Main Responsibilities
* Hardware orders
* Software orders
* Coordinate HW delivery
* Track or escalate orders
* Coordinate installations
* Confirm install completion
* Track project status, POR and budget
* Communicate project status wiht
* MLS submission for new devices
* Manage customer relationship
* Manage any possible escalations
* Contract turn over to steady state
Complexity:
* Coordinates and integrates the work efforts and deliverables of a large multi-function, multi- vendor project team.
* Project is normally within US and CA.
* Manages projects with aggressive but achievable client deadlines.
* Understands contractual and technical aspects as transition lead.
Education and Experience Required:
* First Level University degree
* Experience in project management or in like roles/businesses
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent English skills
* Moderate knowledge of IT and services industry
* Knowledge of company organization, policies, HPS services offerings, end to end processes, tools, and routes to market.
* General technical understanding of products.
