Job Description
Manufacturing Technician 2
Responsible for providing technical support to transfer and new technology projects to Costa Rica facility.
Your role:
* Demonstrates basic understanding of product functionality; performs first-pass yield calculations, scrap analysis using structured troubleshooting methods, and productivity analysis to drive manufacturing efficiency.
* Supports daily manufacturing operations through Gemba walks, participation in daily management meetings, TMV/STM analysis, and adherence to safety requirements for materials and processes.
* Executes and supports process validations and qualifications (IQ execution and protocol updates), FMEA activities, root cause analysis, CAPA, NCRs, and Continuous Improvement initiatives (CIPs).
* Provides project and audit support, contributes to problem-solving activities, follows PRIDE tools and standard work, and supports projects under Manufacturing Engineer supervision as required.
* Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, builds strong relationships with operators and manufacturing staff, provides guidance and training during implementation, and utilizes PLM systems effectively.
You're the right fit if:
* High school diploma preferred, with 2-4 years of related experience; basic engineering background preferred.
* Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes within the medical device industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; basic English communication skills preferred.
* Knowledge, experience, or certification in SolidWorks; Windchill experience preferred for internal candidates.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
This role is an onsite role. Shift A, monday to friday 6:00 am to 3:36 pm.
