Grand Hyatt Barcelona - Steward

The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper organization of all china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment throughout the hotel. This role is a temporary position, hired to cover a leave of absence, and plays a key part in supporting smooth culinary operations while upholding Grand Hyatt's hygiene and quality standards.

Responsibilities

* Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
* Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, stewarding areas, storage rooms, and banquet support areas according to health regulations.
* Operate dishwashing equipment safely and effectively.
* Ensure clean equipment and utensils are organized and readily available.

* Communicate efficiently with kitchen and service teams.
* Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
* Maintain a positive, team-oriented, service-focused attitude
