Join us in the Amazon Maintenance Operation Centre (AMOC) team. We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.

Purpose of job
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Building Management System (BMS) Manager to recruit, lead and mentor a global BMS support team. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional with a robust background in BMS management, coupled with exceptional leadership prowess and business acumen. The successful candidate will implement, maintain, enhance, and optimize our global services while instilling a culture of innovation and customer-centricity.

Key job responsibilities
* Design and own the global BMS Service Team short and long-term strategies, setting a vision, roles and responsibilities and clear goals for the team.
* Recruit, build, inspire and motivate the team that can work towards common goals.
* Collaborate closely with WWRE, D&C, Sustainability, RME and other stakeholders to comprehend customer requirements, business objectives, and operational needs.
* Responsible for the design, implementation, and management of advanced BMS Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, specifications and processes which are scalable across the globe.
* Implement and manage a robust change management process.
* Ensure new buildings meet IOQ criteria before accepting and integrating the site into the scope of the service support team.
* Leverage BMS data insights to proactively identify opportunities for optimization, energy efficiency, and cost savings.
* Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring a wholistic and customer-centric approach.
* Provide visionary insights and recommendations to senior management on BMS trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
* Manage labor needs, project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful implementation of BMS services and initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and certifications to achieve best-in-class performance.
* Ensure the implementation of training and professional development programs to enhance team members' technical and leadership competencies.
* Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing within the team

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Bachelor's degree or above in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
- Experience performing complex business case analysis to justify technical decisions and presenting the justification to management in a high-level review
- High level BMS awareness of relevant programming languages and communication protocols, BACnet, LON, Modbus, or similar protocols.
- Experience leading and managing BMS operations of critical facilities which require in-depth knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control systems of HVAC assets.
- Experience leading global teams
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
- Expert in Tridium Niagara or other equivalent BMS systems
