We at Global Diagnostics Procurement (DOP) are a team of about 200 enthusiastic professionals, committed to driving value with our suppliers worldwide. From locations around the world and with a diverse and multicultural team, we source, manage our supplier base, develop & execute category strategies and constantly develop & digitize processes that enable us to best support our business to grow sustainably. The Opportunity

Are you ready to bring structured thinking, execution, and focus to digitalization in procurement, unlocking new levels of automation and self-service for global operations? As our Digital Enablement Manager, located in Sant Cugat, Spain, you will proactively identify and drive digital opportunities that support our needs and positively impact process efficiency. Acting as a true ambassador for procurement digitization, you will provide strategic thought leadership in a dynamic global environment to ensure digital tools are seamlessly aligned with our overall business objectives.
* Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Digital & Process Management Lead and is part of the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE).
* Wider team and stakeholders: You will manage cross-functional relationships across the DOP Leadership Team (DPLT), CoE LT, DOP Category, DOP Delivery, IT, external providers, and internal stakeholders (e.g., process managers and owners).
* Role Type: An Individual Contributor role focused on digital enablement, stakeholder advisory, and transformation governance.
* Impact: You drive global operational efficiency, process compliance, and large-scale digital adoption. Specifically, you are accountable for:
* Digital Strategy & Roadmap: Developing and governing the digital enablement strategy, setting clear objectives, timelines, and Performance Indicators to monitor the impact of digital tools on procurement outcomes.
* Technology Assessment: Researching and evaluating emerging technologies (AI, Machine Learning, RPA) to enhance procurement processes. Conducting pilot programs to test feasibility and aligning initiatives across functions.
* Stakeholder Advisory & Management: Acting as a trusted advisor to business units and IT, understanding their unique priorities, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative approach to digital transformation.
* AI Pipeline: Spearheading our AI transformation by coordinating and/or building cutting-edge AI solutions in close collaboration with RSS Demand to Pay and Roche Digital Technology (RDT).
* Value Communication: Highlighting the ROI and impact of digital initiatives by developing and delivering data-driven presentations, success stories, and progress reports to senior stakeholders.
* Process Improvement: Conducting thorough analyses of current procurement activities to pinpoint inefficiencies or bottlenecks, using data to prioritize areas for digital intervention and automation.
* Implementation & Adoption: Guiding digitalization projects and solution deployments by creating clear roadmaps. Acting as a liaison with external partners to ensure accurate requirements and promoting seamless adoption by making digitalization "easy to understand for everyone" through targeted training and communication.

Who you are

We look for curious, inclusive, and innovative change agents with a proven track record of managing digital transformations and persuading senior stakeholders to embrace new technologies.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred and offers a competitive advantage.
* Experience: 5-7 years in a digital transformation role, with a minimum of 3 years specifically within procurement. You possess a solid track record of implementing procurement technologies and understanding best practices.
* AI Product Builder & Digitalization: Funded understanding of emerging digital solutions, including AI Models and Machine Learning, e.g. LLMs, Agentic Engineering. Familiarity with e-procurement platforms, SRM systems, and spend analytics.
* Process & Project Expertise: Deep understanding of procurement-specific business processes combined with proficiency in project management methodologies, resource management, and milestone tracking.
* Analytics & Problem Solving: Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and patterns, and address operational challenges with effective, innovative solutions.
* Change & Matrix Leadership: Excellent matrix leadership skills with the ability to guide, inspire, and motivate diverse teams in a collaborative environment. You excel at managing change, driving adoption activities, and delivering customer-focused value.
* Mindset & Soft Skills: A strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset. You demonstrate active listening, a willingness to experiment, and generously share knowledge while remaining receptive to feedback.
* Languages: Business-level fluency in English is required.
