We are looking for a Sales Operations Manager, Embedded Services (Enterprise & Strategic Platforms) to join our hub in Barcelona.

This is a hybrid role - 3 days per week in our Barcelona office.

If you love building things from scratch and want a role where your work genuinely shapes how a business scales, this one's for you. You'll be the global owner of our sales operations engine for Embedded Services - Sage's fastest-growing strategic priority - designing the processes, playbooks, and infrastructure that power some of our most complex enterprise deals across multiple regions. This isn't a "maintain the status quo" role; you're building the foundation that a global team will grow on, with direct exposure to senior leadership and real influence over how we expand into new markets. You'll need experience in Sales, Revenue, or Commercial Operations within SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software, plus proven experience owning CRM governance and enterprise forecasting across multiple regions.
Your first 90 days

In your first 30 days, you'll get under the skin of our sales motion - assessing the current state of pipeline, CRM, and forecasting so you know exactly where to focus

By day 60, you'll define the global standards and operating model that will underpin everything we do, getting buy-in from key stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Legal

By day 90, you'll have rolled out the first iteration of our processes, reporting frameworks, and playbooks - giving us a repeatable, forecastable sales engine ready to scale

What you'll be doing

Own global Salesforce governance, pipeline hygiene, and data integrity - making our enterprise data auditable, accurate, and actionable

Lead enterprise forecasting in partnership with Finance, translating raw pipeline into credible financial plans and performance insights

Run the enterprise deal desk, acting as the central point for pricing approvals, non-standard terms, and commercial exceptions

Build and evolve GTM playbooks that define the deal lifecycle, onboarding sequences, and cross-functional handoffs between Sales, Product, Legal, and Delivery

Evaluate and roll out the sales tech stack, identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements that reduce friction as volume and complexity grow

Support territory and coverage planning to keep our go-to-market resources aligned with our highest-value global opportunities

Experience & Requirements:

Experience

4+ years in Sales, Revenue, or Commercial Operations within SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software

Proven ownership of CRM governance and forecasting at a global or multi-region level

Experience operating an enterprise deal desk, including pricing governance and non-standard commercial terms

A track record of building scalable processes and playbooks from first principles

Comfort operating as a single global owner in a lean, fast-moving environment

Requirements

Strong CRM and sales analytics capability (Salesforce or equivalent)

Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product without direct authority

Confident translating complex pipeline data into clear, executive-level reporting

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Barcelona-based and able to work in a hybrid model

Bonus points if you have experience with embedded or API-led sales motions, CPQ or deal desk models, building sales ops functions from early-stage, or working in regulated financial services environments.
