Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer to join our Testing department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing flight test installations (FTI). As part of the Flight Test Installation Design & Builder Team, you will be involved in optronic and digital systems aiming at securing aircraft deliveries on time and quality.

Your challenges:
* Collect and analyze requirements to specify, design, and deliver Flight Test Installation (FTI) and inherent systems (ground stations, hardware, digital systems).
* Define, release, and integrate the architecture and sizing for the overall FTI installation respecting Quality, Time, Cost, and Performance.
* Manage quotation, budget provision, planning, tendering, and Verification & Validation (V&V) activities including change management.
* Control the configuration management of FTI systems and supervise overall logistics (investments, export control, stock).
* Coordinate daily activities and provide 2nd level technical support to operation, maintenance actors, and Testers.

As a Senior Technical Leader, you blend deep aeronautical mastery specifically in flight physics and control laws with a relentless drive for project excellence. Your strategic command of the V-cycle and high-fidelity simulation makes you a decisive authority within the Design Office.
* Strong background in Engineering (Aeronautics, Electronics, Optronics or equivalent) with initial professional experience or internship in a similar technical environment.
* Technical expertise in Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) architecture design and hardware/software integration.
* Strong knowledge in optronic systems, digital systems, and simulation models.
* Proficiency in configuration management, V&V processes, and project management tools (budget, planning, tendering).
* Advanced level of English (working language) and negotiation level in French.
