The Position
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Design Operations Specialist to join our dynamic design team. This role is essential in driving the seamless coordination and communication required to maintain our high standards of creativity and operational efficiency. The Design Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in aligning our design strategy, managing the creative calendar, and enhancing collaboration across teams. Responsibilities, Include but not limited to
* Strategic Coordination Communication
* Organize and communicate global design strategy around key calendar moments.
* Work closely with the Product Strategy team to understand process flow, milestones, and any changes, ensuring alignment within the design function.
* Represent the design team in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on design process milestones, market launches, and other large projects.
* Provide feedback on challenges to cross-functional teams, ensuring full alignment across design teams, processes, and deliverables.
* Studio Creative Calendar Management
* Liaise with studio managers to align on key design gates throughout the calendar, providing cross-team visibility.
* Track and plan the creative calendar for the Chief Design Officer, ensuring all deadlines are met.
* Identify and prioritize opportunities for the design team to become more collaborative, unified, and efficient.
* Maintain up-to-date insights on team capacity and workload to be shared and reviewed in DLT sessions.
* Partner with the finance team to track the overall and per-team design budgets throughout the fiscal year, reporting back to the Chief Design Officer.
* Ensure VPs inform their teams about important updates, including DLT updates.
* Partner with CTC and Showroom teams for all practical elements to ensure the success of launches and collections, specifically the Market Launch.

The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in a design operations role within the fashion industry.
* Bachelors degree in Fashion, Design, Business Management, or a related field or the equivalent in experience.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Ability to prioritize workload based on capacity
