* Review and verification of invoices for relevant documentation and approval before payment, formal and accounting verification of purchase invoices
* Independent and correct registration of purchase invoices in the books with the use of IT accounting systems
* Responding to all customer inquiries, e-mail correspondence and telephone contact with the customer beyond the scope of one' s postings
* Help and support for other team members (including trainings), based on procedural knowledge and a deep understanding of the process
* Active involvement and supporting the management in processes improvement projects, taking care of the development and adjustments of the process and its appropriate documentation
* Solve and report any inconsistencies in the posting and process
* Accurate documentation of processes in compliance with the company's policy and accepted accounting principl, providing documentation for control and preserving historical data through appropriate archiving of accounting documents and related documentation
* Delegation of tasks and quality assurance of the work of the team
* Active backup for Team Leader
* Other duties assigned by the manager (e.g. accounting for bank statements, preparation of account analysis, preparation of electronic transfers and cheques
* 6 years of experience in accounting
* 2 years within respective area: AP, AR or GL
* Expert accounting knowledge level (proven by internal exam/work experience or adequate diploma)
* Comprehensive knowledge of all areas of accounting (AP and AR and GL)
* Fluent German or English language skills
* Good work organisation, methodical and analytical approach to work
* Ability to concentrate and attention to details
* Good customer service service skills
* Readiness to learn and update professional knowledge
* Ability to prioritize tasks and plan work
* Impeccable work ethics and high standards of own work
* Good communication skills at all levels of the organization
* Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to critically look at the processes to report ineffectiveness and proposed solutions to the supervisor, and to implement them within the scope of responsibility/ competence
