Join our global Vaccines R&D team as an Operational Planning Manager and you'll be responsible for developing and managing the Operational level plan in the Planning tool (RDPM), as well as the associated resources needed to deliver project objectives - working in close partnership with functional project team members, functional Project Managers, Project Planning Managers and Resource Management Officers.

Main responsibilities:
* Facilitate monthly update meetings with functional sub-teams of the projects under management.
* Ensure the development and control of integrated project operational schedules at a higher level through proactive definition of functional deliverables with functional project team members.
* Develop, manage and update planning in the planning tool for operational activities relevant to the function under supervision (CMC or Clinical).
* Proactively anticipate constraints ensuring business continuity; escalate issues, delays or problems to the Resource Management Officers and Functional sub-team as appropriate for resolution.
* Create and update operational activities and FTEs in RDPM for assigned projects across any portfolio (New Vaccines, New Technology Projects, Post-Licensure Commitment projects), ensuring full project scope coverage (i.e. cost to launch) in partnership with functional team members and Resource Management Officers; monitor and update activity progress with functional sub-team; ensure the resource plan aligns with the operational strategy for vaccine projects.
* Ensure data quality in the planning tool on activities and resources in partnership with functional PM, Resource Management Officers and Project Planning Manager.
* Support continuous improvement of New Vaccines Project Templates with Resource Management Officers from each function, and of metrics used to estimate standard activities in partnership with Resource Management Officers at function and global levels.
* Where designated, act as the "super user" of the resource management tool: manage process, tool and support all users/clients, ensure consistency, robustness and optimization, and conduct training, education and refresher sessions as needed for new operational and resource planners.

About you
Experience:
* Prior planning experience and formal training demonstrated through previous employment
* Strong prior experience applicable to Project Planning
* Previous work in the vaccines industry (in CMC or Clinical activities) would be of value

Technical skills:
* Resource Management
* Planning
* Planisware experience would be an advantage
* Knowledge on Vaccines Development life cycle would be an asset

Education:
* Relevant University degree in science or related discipline

Language(s):
* Strong English skills (verbal and written), ability to exchange fluently in a global environment
* Proficiency in French would be a plus
