About the role

As a GBS RTR Analyst, you will support Record-to-Report (RTR) operational activities across supported entities and markets. This role focuses on executing accounting and reporting tasks under supervision, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to defined accounting processes and controls.

You will collaborate with Senior Analysts, Managers, and cross-functional teams to support day-to-day RTR operations, contribute to data quality, and help ensure smooth period-end close and reporting process. Activities vary based on business needs, volume, and workload allocation

Your responsibilities

Indicative Process Coverage

This role may support execution and operational activities across selected Record-to-Report process areas, including but not limited to:
-Financial Accounting
-Accrual and Reserve Accounting (e.g., commercial accruals, returns, and other reserves)
-Intercompany Accounting
-Fixed Assets Management
-Close and Consolidation
-Manufacturing Accounting

Summary of Responsibilities
-Execute transactional and operational RTR activities in ERP systems in line with standard operating procedures and controls
-Prepare and support posting of journal entries (including accruals and reserve-related entries) under supervision
-Perform data validation and support balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, including accrual and intercompany balances
-Support period-end close activities by preparing schedules, analysis, and supporting documentation
-Assist with intercompany accounting activities, including data preparation, reconciliations, and settlement support
-Support fixed assets accounting activities, including asset additions, transfers, depreciation, and disposals preparation
-Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness
-Support preparation of standard financial reports and operational metrics
-Identify issues or exceptions and escalate them to Senior Analysts or Managers as appropriate
-Follow established accounting processes, controls, and escalation paths

The experience we're looking for

-0-2 years of experience in finance operations, accounting support, or shared services
-Basic understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
-Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Excel
-Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data
-Willingness to learn and operate within structured processes
