The .NET Developer will serve as a key technical contributor, which acts as the single middleware source. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and integration solutions that connect internal app with all the downstream applications. The developer will work closely with the tech stack lead to ensure seamless data flow, system reliability, and adherence to governance standards while supporting the business benefits and new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and OSLC-compliant endpoints
* Build and enhance AWS-based middleware solutions using ECS/Fargate, Lambda, SQS, and other cloud services
* Develop synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns for real-time and event-driven data exchange
* Implement PostgreSQL database solutions including schema design, optimization, and data migration
* Participate in code reviews, maintain PR governance standards, and ensure code quality across the platformRequired Skills
Core .NET Expertise
* Strong proficiency in .NET Core (6.0+) and ASP.NET Core
* Deep understanding of C# programming and object-oriented design principles
* Experience with Entity Framework Core and LINQ
* Knowledge of asynchronous programming patterns and middleware developmentCloud & Infrastructure
* Hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS/Fargate, CloudFormation, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch
* Understanding of containerization using Docker
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub ActionsDatabase & Data Management
* Strong experience with PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and querying
* Understanding of database migration strategies and connection pooling
* Experience with data modeling and normalizationAPI Development
* Solid experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
* Knowledge of API versioning, pagination, filtering, and sorting patterns
* Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger documentationIntegration & Middleware
* Experience building middleware solutions that connect multiple systems
* Understanding of integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, event-driven)
* Knowledge of message queuing systems and event-driven architectures
* Experience with OSLC standards is a plus
