We are looking to hire a finance professional to fill the position of Business Group Analyst at our London office. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Vice President and be part of a team responsible for supporting the bank's main business line of M&A advisory. He/she will also assist the team with London management and backlog reporting.

Business Group Analyst (London).

This is a 6-12 month fixed term contract.

We'll trust you to:

* Control of client invoicing process including maintaining the general ledger.
* Control and reconciliation of client recoverable expenses.
* Preparation of monthly management information.
* Preparation of monthly group reporting information and reconciliations.
* Ensuring consistency between the general ledger and business reporting systems.
* Account for cash receipts and maintaining the debtor's ledger.
* Reconcile and settle intercompany balances
* Preparation of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
* Office of National Statistics Surveys
* Ad hoc requests and project work when required.

You'll need to have:

* Trainee / Part qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) with strong analytical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to prioritise, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
* Ability to maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct
* Accuracy and a high attention to detail
* A high level of self-motivation, autonomy, and initiative
* PC literate with extensive familiarity of Microsoft Excel
* Experience of multi-currency accounting and consolidations
* Experience of the SAP general ledger system and Analysis for Office (AFO)
