As a Product Modeller at JLR, you'll be at the very heart of our product creation process. Product Information (PI) is the engine that keeps our business moving, and you'll play a critical role in delivering accurate, coherent Product Specifications and Bills of Materials (BoM) that align with programme timing.
In this role, you'll own all virtual configurations and early BoM quality across every JLR vehicle line. Working hand in hand with Engineering teams across all Tech Centres, you'll use your expertise to understand which parts and commodities fit specific vehicle specifications across different markets.

* Understanding the PI Framework and recognising opportunities for improvement.

* Feature Alignment between RMFD & 3DX toolsets

* BoM quality and delivery of the feature change process to maintain BoM to the latest assumptions

* BoM creations - File Set Up

* Empress Validation & Issue Resolution for all MY's across a given VL

* Creating metrics to support the progress of delivery for a VL

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you'll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

* Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

* Effective time management skills, with the ability to balance priorities through close customer engagement

* Excellent communication skills

* Experience with CAD 3DX visualisation

* Knowledge of Bills of Materials and/or the WERS system

* Proficient with Excel
