About the role
The position is part of a newly formed team: Digital Capabilities team part of the DigiOps programme. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, the individual will be responsible for developing and supporting delivery of various integrations and applications required for strategic business growth. The candidate will be a senior, providing technical expertise, ownership and responsibilities in end-to-end IT project delivery.
Role Responsibilities
* Develops solutions to meet customer needs
* Understands the E2E project timelines and sprint level objectives to deliver software deliverables to the required/expected quality
* Implements new/improved software development processes and best practices, as required by group or departmental Heads
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in modern web development using JavaScript and major frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js).
* Strong understanding of sync/async programming, call-backs, and regular expressions.
* Experience designing and developing multi-tier web architectures.
* Proven ability to build intuitive, user-focused front-end experiences.
* Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
* Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SOAP integration patterns.
* Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative delivery.
* Solid background in both business analysis and technical analysis.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
