Dr Caroline Wee (Principal Scientist, IMCB, A*STAR), is looking for a qualified individual to be employed at the level of a postdoctoral researcher. Projects involve dissecting the molecular, neural, and genetic networks of the diet-microbiome-gut-brain axis using cutting-edge approaches such as in vivo imaging, neural circuit manipulations and molecular omics approaches in the zebrafish model.

Job Requirements:

* Ph.D. in Biology, Neuroscience, or a related discipline.
* Strong preference for candidates with experience in zebrafish models, particularly in areas such as the microbiome, molecular-genetic manipulation, and behavioural assays.
* Familiarity with systems neuroscience techniques, including microscopy and in vivo imaging is an advantage.
* Proficient in data analysis and statistical methods relevant to biological research.
* Demonstrates a high level of responsibility, organization, and focus.
* Capable of working independently while also being an effective and enthusiastic team player.
* Experience in mentoring students or interns is preferred.
* Possesses strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
