Job Title: Research Assistant

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our dynamic team working on multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs), emerging infectious diseases, transmission dynamics, and other hospital infection prevention and control (IPC) topics.

You will play a key role in coordinating and recruitments for new and ongoing projects, supporting preparation of study protocols, ethics submission and related study documents. You will also support general administrative tasks related to team operations.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Research

* Assist with participant recruitment, screening, and scheduling visits

* Provide administrative and logistical support for new and ongoing projects

* Assist in organising meetings, meeting minutes including preparation of presentation materials

* Manage site investigator files and maintain proper study documentation in compliance with institutional and regulatory requirement

* Support preparation of study protocols, ethics submissions and related study documents

* Liaise with collaborators and stakeholders, together with Research Fellow, to facilitate smooth project coordination, as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

* Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, life sciences, nursing or a related field

EXPERIENCE

* Experience in research (e.g prior RA role, internships or final year project)

* Good written and verbal communication skills in English

* Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

* Willingness to learn data management
