Job Description
The Clinical Application Specialist for our Patient Monitoring and Ambulatory/Diagnostics Businesses is responsible for conducting detailed analyses of complex clinical workflows and operational procedures to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancing patient care and operational efficiency, working under general supervision. The role leverages advanced clinical and technical expertise, and provides authoritative guidance to healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization of Philips' products and services. The role assesses complex customer needs through thorough consultations and develops tailored implementation strategies aligned with clinical goals and organizational objectives.
Your role:
* Develops tailored educational resources and training materials designed for specific clinical specialties and user roles, collaborating closely with customers to enhance proficiency and maximize the value derived from Philips' clinical solutions.
* Adapts Philips' array of clinical applications to diverse healthcare settings, ensuring tailored configurations that optimize functionality and usability according to specific clinical requirements, working under general supervision.
* Analyzes intricate clinical workflows and operational procedures with meticulous detail, conducting thorough assessments to pinpoint inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancing the application's impact on patient care and operational efficiency.
* Applies advanced clinical and technical knowledge to provide authoritative guidance and support, facilitating seamless integration and effective utilization of Philips' solutions across various healthcare environments.
* Assesses complex customer needs through in-depth consultations and detailed needs analysis, developing customized implementation strategies that align closely with clinical goals and organizational objectives.
* Communicates technical and clinical concepts with clarity and precision to diverse audiences, delivering comprehensive training sessions, demonstrations, and presentations that effectively showcase the capabilities and benefits of Philips' products and services.
* Completes thorough documentation and detailed reports related to application implementations and support activities, ensuring transparency and accountability in project management and outcomes.
* Complies meticulously with project timelines and milestones, orchestrating flawless execution of implementation plans and delivering on commitments to uphold customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
* Documents all customer interactions and support activities comprehensively within CRM systems, leveraging analytical insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives and elevate overall customer satisfaction levels.
You are the right fit if:
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
* Experience in patient monitoring and/or cardiac care e.g. Nurse, ODP.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience, with strong knowledge of clinical procedures, protocols, and operating environments.
* Demonstrates a customer-first mindset, adapts quickly to new technologies, and stays current with clinical applications of relevant equipment.
* Works independently within established procedures, understands when to escalate appropriately, and requires guidance only for new or complex assignments.
* Fluent in English and Swedish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Willingness to travel minimum 30% to customers.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
