Overview
Trade Marketing Field Manager is responsible for leading the execution, tracking, and continuous optimization of Trade Marketing programs, including customer promotions, distribution & VPO modules, visibility initiatives, frontline incentivization, and roadshows, ensuring full alignment with the Marketing Calendar and channel First Focus priorities.
The role translates shopper, retailer, and field insights into actionable Trade Marketing plans by designing and implementing regional promotion programs, visibility projects, and launch support activities to drive penetration, distribution, volume per outlet, and market share growth.
Acting as a key link between HQ and field sales teams, this position ensures effective communication of brand and Trade Marketing initiatives, product launches, execution standards, and training materials, while leading regular field and regional visits to maximize execution quality and performance.
Additionally, the role closely monitors competitive activity and market dynamics, proactively providing insights, recommendations, and alternative strategies to support volume growth, revenue generation, in-store visibility, and overall commercial performance.
Responsibilities
* Drive flawless and on-time in-store execution by systematically tracking performance and resolving gaps.
* Select and brief vendors/local suppliers for tailor made visibility materials and execution pilots, including final approval of prototypes and field tests.
* Determine prioritization of field visits deployment to maximize program execution quality and in-store impact.
* Periodically analyze merchandising portfolio to achieve sales & distribution targets.
* Introduce/exclude new merchandising equipment by sub-channel.
* To conduct tests for execution tools and make the necessary improvements in collaboration with suppliers and field team.
* Conduct market tours, customer visits, regular field audits and check programs with the trade marketing team in order to increase efficiency in any trade marketing activity.
* Ensure effective internal and external communication of program details, funding, business objectives and results among key constituents.
* Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of current marketing strategy and tactics (what's working/what's not).
* Proactively develop strategic hypotheses and work with Insights to develop research (based on sound methodology) to test the validity of these concepts.
* Coordinate and lead the preparation of training sessions and webinars (e.g., Albatross and brand sessions) for the sales team.
* Build & track regional specific & special programs to drive penetration and VPO; Fruko Attack, Model Store Program, Eskişehir Attack, Antalya Uni OP Best Practices, PO1, Istanbul Attack, Adana Attack, LSM Project, PTY Program, Yellow Store Projects, Traditional Trade - Away from Home Project, Roadshow.
* Track and support Away from Home sales teams for menu board & visibility executions for AFH channel.
* Lead and ensure the completion of new tailor-made stand implementations and the relocation of existing setups in collaboration with the TOT team.
* Lead and ensure the completion of rack refurbishment process in all regions in collaboration with the TOT team.
Qualifications
* University graduate (related Business degree)
* FMCG, Sales, Marketing, TM experience with a total of min 3-6 yrs
* Fluent in English
* High level of business acumen - must be commercially savvy, with strong analytical skills
* Strong planning, organizing and follow skills together with drive for results
* Strong collaboration, communication , influence and impact skills
* Proactive working style and initiative taking
* Can do attitude and willingness to take on challenges
* Cross-cultural abilities - able to understand different stakeholders needs, develop aligned plans in environments of diversity and uncertainty and work with a positive "make it happen" attitude
* Very strong leadership and communication skills with proven track record of delivery
* Inspire others - ability to engage broad range of stakeholders both through compilation of compelling and persuasive presentations and ability to deliver
* Advanced PowerPoint, World and Excel skills
