DoD Skillbridge Welding Program (Skillbridge eligible candidates only)

As a Skillbridge Welding Intern here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for working on a team of welders and ensuring the quality and efficiency of welding operations. You will report directly to our Welding Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Port Manatee/Palmetto, FL location. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our welding operations, ensuring that all welds meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for developing your welding capabilities and techniques throughout your apprenticeship program.

YOU MUST HAVE
* Been enrolled and approved for the DoD Skillbridge Program
* Knowledge of basic welding principles
* Proven ability to effectively work on a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

WE VALUE
* Technical certification in welding or a related field
* Willingness to train and develop as a welder
* Knowledge of welding standards and best practices
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
