Job Summary**

Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic R&D Trainee/Apprentice/VIE-1 to contribute to innovative research and development projects within our dynamic engineering team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automotive electrical systems and contribute to the future of mobility.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of automotive electrical components and systems.
* Conduct laboratory experiments, data collection, and analysis under supervision.
* Support the creation of technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and presentations.
* Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
* Learn and apply relevant industry standards, methodologies, and tools.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and project management.
* Maintain a safe and organized working environment in the R&D lab.

Job Qualifications**

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong academic record with a solid understanding of electrical principles and circuit design.
* Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is a plus.
* Basic knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming (e.g., C/C++) is desirable.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
* Prior internship or project experience in an R&D setting is a benefit.
