Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

* Keep the overview: Performance analysis of the diverse hardware and software architectures and associated tooling's
* Reliable work: Contribute to test automation workflow for faster time-to-market and improved quality
* Expand your horizons: Create and integrate custom scripts and tools using Python to enhance workflow automation
* Shape the future: Explore and apply modern intelligent techniques to analyze, predict, and optimize inherited code behavior, enabling data-driven software modernization
* Teamwork is dreamwork: Share knowledge of experimental outcomes and insights with the application development team

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Study Field: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
* Skills: Proficient in C/C++, Python, and scripting languages
* Interests: Embedded systems and architecture
* Experience:
o development tools/IDEs (CMake, VSCode etc.) and version control
o familiarity with Linux operating system
o familiarity with compilers (GCC/Clang/llvm), binary/tool chain optimization
o containerization and client-server fundamentals
o knowledge of RISC-V or other embedded architectures is a plus

* Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That's why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
* Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree program. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
* You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
