We at BASF Venture Capital GmbH are the corporate venture capital company of the BASF Group. Since 2001, we have been investing worldwide in young, fast-growing companies and funds related to current and future businesses of BASF.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Join us as an intern starting on June 1st, 2026, and help us shape the future of innovation together with our team over the course of six exciting months.
* You will support the due-diligence process for both new and follow-on investments.
* Moreover, you will analyze business plans, financial models, cap tables, and exit scenarios in detail.
* You will conduct comprehensive market and competitive analyses to assess strategic potential.
* Furthermore, you will prepare materials for deal pitches and challenge sessions.
* You will contribute to the development and improvement of VC processes, portfolio dashboards, and related analytical tools.

WHAT YOU OFFER

* Degree in Business Administration or related fields
* excellent English language skills, German language skills are a plus
* proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; digital skills, especially PowerBI, PowerApps, and databases is a plus
* strong interest in in venture capital, innovation, and start-ups with a solid foundation in financial analysis as well as financial modeling
* ideally, first practical experience in the form of internships or accompanying activities during studies
