As part of our team, you will be directly involved in the design of processes, material provision on the assembly line and pre-assembly areas as well as support in project management with regard to deadlines and costs in the most modern Mercedes-Benz production hall, where we manufacture the S-Class, the EQS and the Maybach. This includes, for example, the rough scheduling of assembly processes, shopping basket design and pre-assembly coordination and the overarching review of milestone target achievement in the planning management tool cPlace for transparent reporting in all areas as well as monitoring the outflow of funds planning at annual slice level. This requires effective cooperation between us and the adjacent areas such as logistics, production, CIP workshop and rework planning.

The high demands we place on our vehicles are directly reflected in your tasks. The top priority here is to optimize all processes in terms of time, quality, ergonomics, costs and flexibility.

Your tasks in detail:
* Developing proposals for shopping basket optimization
* Supporting the preparation and implementation of shopping basket design workshops
* Developing and implementing optimizations of the pre-assembly areas
* Support with the digitalization of shopping carts
* Interface communication with production, logistics, specialist planning and the CIP workshop
* Support with process planning activities
* Pre-filling the plant allocation specifications in close cooperation with our specialist departments
* Participation in interdisciplinary workshops
* Support in the preparation and implementation of resource requirements planning
* Collaboration in various specialist groups

Qualifikationen

* Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering or a comparable course of study
* Confident handling of MS Office
* Commitment and ability to work in a team
* Good communication skills
* Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
* Confident knowledge of German and English

We are a cool team and are happy to support students in their career entry and to turn theory into practice in series planning for the desirable luxury models from Mercedes-Benz. Here we accompany the production process in the assembly hall from the concept phase to the finished car and beyond.
