Job Summary:**

Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Trainee to support our finance department. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in various financial operations within a leading automotive supplier.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist with the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations.
* Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
* Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Help with data entry and maintenance of financial records.
* Conduct basic financial analysis and research as required.
* Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial information.
* Learn and apply company financial policies and procedures.
* Assist with internal and external audit preparations.
* Perform other administrative and financial tasks as assigned by the finance team.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
* Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
* Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
