Job Summary**

The R&D Trainee will support the research and development team in various projects related to electrical systems for the automotive industry. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product development, testing, and innovation within a global leader.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of new electrical components and systems.
* Support data collection, analysis, and interpretation for R&D projects.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and presentations.
* Participate in experimental setups, prototype assembly, and validation activities.
* Conduct literature reviews and research on new technologies and materials.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and project management.
* Learn and apply Valeo's R&D methodologies and quality standards.
* Identify and report potential technical issues or improvements.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Strong academic record.
* Basic understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and embedded systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) is a plus.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
