Job Description
Join a global investment group with local impact. As a Trainee in Natixis' Financial Institutions Coverage team, you'll be part of a small, high-performing group that works closely with banks, insurers, superannuation, asset managers, sovereigns, and other financial clients across Australia and New Zealand.
In Natixis' Sydney office, you'll experience the best of both worlds - the senior visibility, variety, and responsibility that come with working in a tight-knit team, combined with the reach and expertise of a major international financial institution. You'll collaborate daily with senior people locally and product specialists across Natixis' global network in Paris, Hong Kong, and beyond.
Main Responsibilities:
* Contribute to internal projects, marketing initiatives, and cross-border collaboration within the FIG and product teams.
* Support client coverage in delivering tailored financing, advisory, and risk management solutions.
* Assist with transaction execution, coordination between internal stakeholders, and follow-up on deal progress.
* Account opening, document negotiation, credit analysis and limit management, assist the KYC and legal process.
* Prepare client presentations, credit models, pitch materials, and internal credit papers.
* Conduct research on clients, markets, and regulatory developments affecting the financial sector.
* Monitor risks, financial performance of clients, and maintain client databases and pipeline reporting.

You'll gain early exposure to senior decision-makers, learn how deals are structured and executed, and develop a broad understanding of financial markets from the ground up.
* University educated, excellent communication skills, Microsoft office and AI skills.
* Commercial acumen, inquisitive, attention to detail, creative and a strong willingness to learn.
* Client focus and credit skills are a plus.
