We have an exciting opportunity for a Software / Systems Engineering Intern to join our Customer Services team. This role is designed for a penultimate-year student who is eager to gain hands-on experience working with real systems operating in live production environments.
In this role, you will gain exposure beyond software development, learning how applications are deployed, monitored, supported and improved once they are in operation.
In this role you will:
* Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot applications operating in a live production environment.
* Work across a mixed technology stack, including PHP and C++.
* Support machine learning model training pipelines and deployments.
* Contribute to codebases managed using Git (SVN exposure beneficial).
* Assist with investigating and resolving system and application issues in collaboration with experienced engineers.
We don't need superheroes, just super minds.
* Currently in your penultimate year of study in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
* Exposure to PHP or C++ through coursework or personal projects.
* Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is advantageous.
* Familiarity with version control systems, with Git preferred.
* Strong problem-solving mindset and curiosity about how systems behave in live environments.
* Willingness to learn, adapt and work collaboratively within a technical team.
