What To Expect
As an intern in the Charging Team, you will support our mission to transition the world to sustainable energy and experience first-hand what it is like to work in one of the world's most dynamic and entrepreneurial companies.
You will support project developers with site acquisition and business development for the Australia and New Zealand Supercharger network, assisting with the day-to-day work that helps identify, progress, and secure new Supercharger locations.
This is a chance to contribute to expanding the first and foremost high-speed charging network that will define the future of EV mobility and long-distance travel across AUNZ.
What You'll Do
* Support project developers with site acquisition activities for the AUNZ Supercharger network, including research, documentation, and follow-up on prospective locations
* Assist with business development outreach by coordinating with landowners, developers, partners, and other external stakeholders
* Help prepare and maintain site packs, trackers, and project documentation to keep acquisition pipelines organised and up to date
* Support the creation and raising of purchase orders and other process tasks as required
* Contribute to reporting and pipeline metrics for the regional charging / project development team
* Contribute to project work as necessary
What You'll Bring
* Currently studying or recently completed a tertiary qualification; applicants from engineering, business, commerce, or related backgrounds are preferred
* Must be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Evidence of strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to work across multiple platforms and systems; must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Driven and enthusiastic with a genuine interest and passion for Tesla's mission
* This role can be full time or part time
