Your Job
At Koch's Employee Service Center, we empower business success by delivering innovative IT and HR support. As a Service Center Intern based in Shanghai, China, you'll develop IT service desk expertise, supporting over 20,000+ Koch employees across the Asia-Pacific region. This role offers exposure to global processes and the chance to drive continuous improvement in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. You will provide timely technical, inquiry, and transactional support to employees, managers, and business partners, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and a positive user experience. This role offers hands-on learning, mentorship, cross-functional exposure, and meaningful responsibility that builds a foundation for a career in the IT service management and customer support fields.

What You Will Do
* Provide timely, empathetic first level IT support via chat, calls, and case management.
* Learn and apply new tools and troubleshooting steps to resolve common technical and process issues.
* Guide users through basic steps to handle the IT request or problem.
* Accurately log and triage incoming cases; escalate complex issues to experts and follow through on resolutions.
* Collaborate with business partners to research recurring problems.
* Demonstrate high integrity and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Current college student (undergraduate) available at least 3 days per week for a minimum 3-month internship.
* Comfortable communicating with Koch employees as well as team members.
* Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Strong collaborator and team player with a high sense of accountability and a customer first mindset.
What Will Put You Ahead
* Basic command of written and spoken English preferred
* Basic command of written and spoken Japanese or Korean is a plus.
* Demonstrated eagerness to learn new concepts and apply them while engaging effectively with customers and teammates.
