JOB DETAILS:
* Location: Beijing/Shanghai, China
* Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work at least 3 days/week throughout internship
* Duration: Jan - Jun 2026

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

We are seeking highly motivated AI Software Engineering intern/co-op to join our team. In this role -
* We will involve you in validating new AI software features on AMD GPUs before they reach developers.
* We will assign you to contribute improvements to open-source AI projects (e.g., PyTorch, Triton, vLLM, SGLang) to enhance AMD GPU support.
* Your responsibility will include creating developer-focused tutorials, demos, blogs, and hands-on videos that make AI software more approachable.
* You get to collaborate with engineers across teams to help make AMD ROCm easier and faster for developers to adopt.
* You will gain hands-on experience in GPU programming, AI frameworks, open-source collaboration, and technical storytelling-skills that are highly valuable in both research and industry.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
* MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
* You have good knowledge and hands-on experience with Python, C, or C++.
* You are familiar with Linux environments and modern software development tools.
* You are curious about or already comfortable using AI coding assistants to accelerate development.
